Pick up at Bordeaux and transfer to Saint-Emilion.
Guided visit of St Emilion, medieval city, UNESCO world heritage site and one of the centres of Bordeaux winemaking. Visit and tasting >to the Château Ferrand, Grand Cru classé of Saint Emilion. Transfer to Sarlat, medieval town in a region known in France as the Périgord Noir. It has been exceptionally well-preserved and is one of the town’s most representative of the 14th century in France. More than 1000 years of architecture live in its lanes, roof-tiles and stone walls.
Settle in 4-star hotel in Les Eyzies de Tayac, the world capital of Prehistory as this is the town where Cro-Magnon was discovered.

Truffle Experience & Perigord Villages
Today is devoted to the “Black Diamond” the truffle of Perigord. Departure to St-Cyprien for visit and initiation of “cavage” that will show the techniques of findings the truffles with a dog. Truffled lunch at the Ferme Auberge.
Then transfer to the beautiful village of Beynac-et-Cazenac and enjoy a boat ride along the Dordogne River to admire all the mighty castles that line the River.

You will experience the famous Farmer’s market - (every wednesday & saturday) an unmissable spot and one of the most beautiful in all of the South West. Then, you will then enjoy a guided walking tour of historic Sarlat, rich merchant town during the 13th to 16th century.
This afternoon, you will discover the romantic and picturesque Gardens of Marqueyssac around a castle covered with eighteenth-century slate, over 6 kilometres of shaded walks, bordered by hundred-year-old box trees and decorated with belvedere, rockeries and waterfalls…
